This course is ideal for a career in accounting. You'll learn how to apply accounting and finance to a variety of roles and organisations and make informed financial decisions. As part of your degree, you'll get valuable hands-on experience through a work internship, a consultancy project or entrepreneurship experience.

We're one of only a few universities in the UK to have a real-time Bloomberg trading room, designed to give you the experience of working in a fast-paced professional environment. You'll be given access to Thomson, Datastream, Hydra and Fame databases, meaning you'll have access to real-world data, gaining familiarity with the technology used in the financial workplace.

The course is currently accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). If you choose to study for a professional qualification after you graduate, you'll have the opportunity to get exemptions (credits for prior learning) from these exams and qualifications.

This course can also be studied with an integrated foundation year, which has a lower entry tariff.
