Spring is here (just about) and with it Kingston's spring telephone campaign

Posted Sunday 7 April 2013

Equality mentoring schemes for students – recruiting for mentorsWe are now almost at the halfway point of Kingston University's Spring 2013 telephone fundraising campaign, and have already received many of your letters and emails that tell us about the pleasure that you got out of speaking to a current Kingston student.

Indeed, the fact that our students take so much enjoyment from conversations with you – learning about the wide and diverse fields that they could find themselves heading towards, or, discovering amazing networking opportunities through these conversations – makes it one of the most rewarding and inspiring aspects of a campaign.

And this is on top of raising money for our vital projects:

  • the Student Hardship Fund, helping students who are in danger of not completing their studies, through no fault of their own;
  • postgraduate scholarships, awarded to the most gifted and driven;
  • enhancing the student experience through the diverse number of projects that we support with the Opportunities Fund; and
  • finally, helping Kingston change the world through innovative and cutting-edge research with the Research Fund.

If you would like to make a donation to the spring fundraising campaign or, if you would like to speak to one of our students in the next few weeks, please contact Jason Barlow, the Annual Fund manager at j.barlow@kingston.ac.uk or on 020 8417 3112.

A huge thank you to all those who have already donated to the Annual Fund. The difference you make to Kingston's current students and future alumni is invaluable.
