We were delighted to see so many Kingston alumni gathered together earlier this month for our third alumni reunion in Moscow. Once again, Tim Barrow CMG LVO MBE – the British Ambassador to the Russian Federation – hosted the event in the beautiful surroundings of his Residence overlooking the Moscow River and the Kremlin. The reunion provided a great opportunity for Kingston graduates to celebrate their successes, meet fellow alumni and reminisce about shared experiences. The reception also allowed the perfect setting to award the British Ambassador Tim Barrow with an Honorary Doctorate from Kingston University in recognition of his outstanding contribution to, and in support of, higher education links between Russia and the UK.
During the last 20 years, Kingston University has established many successful partnerships with universities and colleges in Russia to deliver management programmes for business, human resources and healthcare. The majority of Kingston's Russian alumni have studied at three partner institutions: the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, The Pavlov State Medical University and Russian State University of Aviation Technology. The Kingston MBA in Moscow has once again been ranked at the top of MBA programmes in Russia by major newspaper Izverstiya.
Following yet another successful event, we look forward to seeing our Russian-based alumni at the reunion next year.
