Kingston University has held its first official reunion in Norway in March.
A lively crowd of graduates, staff and guests attended the event that took place at the resplendent British Ambassadors residents in Oslo.
Graduates of Kingston spent the evening reconnecting with old friends and meeting with fellow alumni. Many of those in attendance were previously unaware of just how many Norwegians have attended Kingston University.
Kingston has taught Norwegian students since 1970 and the number continues to grow year on year. In fact, since 2010, Kingston University has been the number one choice for Norwegian students in the UK! We currently have 408 Norwegian students studying at Kingston. It was fantastic to celebrate this strong connection at such a wonderful event.
The event also witnessed the awarding of an honorary doctorate to Hadia Tajik in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Norwegian politics.
Graduating from Kingston 2006 with a Human Rights MA, Hadia is already one of Norway's most prominent politicians, and the first-ever Muslim cabinet member. Find out more about Hadia's award.
