Kingston alumni have always been a friendly and chatty bunch, but this week we are witnessing their incredible generosity too, with our campaign reaching and exceeding £65,000. With still a few days to go we are confident we can touch our target of £70,000 which will go towards building a better university for our students and future alumni.
As well as picking up the phone this autumn in our telephone campaign, comedy was also on the cards with the return of comedian, alumnus and Annual Fund donor James Mullinger. Last week Penrhyn Road's Space Bar was full to the brim with past and current students enjoying tales from James and his other funny friends, Carly Smallman (star of BBC's The Rob Brydon Show) and Andrew Doyle, critically acclaimed stand-up comedian from the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
United by laughs the night raised a lot of money, a great addition to our campaign total! £70,000 is now in sight!
A huge thank you to all of those who have already donated to the Annual Fund. The difference you make to Kingston's current students and future alumni is invaluable.
