Quality of Kingston's MBA commended

Kingston Business School's MBA programmes have been re-accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for five years - the maximum period for which it accredits programmes.

In a report endorsed by AMBA's re-accreditation board, the assessors highlighted ‘the quality of the faculty members, their approachability to students and their general team spirit'. There was also praise for Kingston's new £26m Business School building which, the report said, created 'a splendid environment for both students and faculty'.

AMBA accreditation confirms the international credibility and value of the Kingston MBA in a market consisting of many hundreds of MBA programmes worldwide. Only a select group of MBA programmes are accredited by AMBA.

"This re-accreditation is a clear reflection of the quality and depth we can offer to candidates around the world," Dean of Kingston Business School Professor Jean-Noel Ezingeard said. "The AMBA accreditation is highly valued by MBA students and applicants and it was particularly pleasing to see the assessors' comments on our fantastic new building and quality of our staff - a well-deserved and ringing endorsement."

The re-accreditation covers the full and part-time Kingston MBAs, the MSc in International Business Management and the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).

Kingston's Moscow MBA programmes were subject to a separate AMBA accreditation visit which took place in last December and also resulted in a recommendation for a five-year accreditation.

AMBA exists to oversee the standard and quality of MBAs available worldwide. The next full re-assessment of the Kingston Business School will take place in October 2017.
