Kingston Business School's Business Readiness Programme has been listed as a finalist in 2018's CIPD People Management awards.
The programme is a module offered to all Kingtson Business School students that focuses specifically on employability and personal skill training, preparing students for placements and their careers after graduation.
The programme was entered into the competition as a joint submission between Interim Business Readiness programme manager Liz Machtynger of Customer Essential and Kingston Business School as a shining example of a learning and development programme.
After sifting through hundreds of entries, the judges selected the programme as a finalist, with a shortlist of just six other programmes from the rest of the UK. The final stage of judging will take place at the beginning of July when Liz Machtynger and Deborah Pinder-Young, along with a placement student from the Faculty, will present to the CIPD judging panel. The final winner will be announced at the end of September 2018.
