The government's innovation agency, Innovate UK, is investing £15 million in projects that support small to medium size businesses (SMEs) to address technical or commercial challenges in health and life sciences (H&LS).
The H&LS sector focuses on agriculture, food and healthcare. It is supported by bioscience technology, medical research and engineering and physical sciences expertise.
Grants applications have to be led by the business, and can be awarded directly to SMEs or to consortiums, of which Kingston University can be a partner. Find out more about our expertise in life sciences and healthcare.
The competition includes funding for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP): part-funded schemes where a three-way partnership is formed between a University, a business and a graduate to tackle a specific, strategic project. Kingston University has been running successful KTPs for many years.
