The Kingston Business Excellence awards are now thriving in their fourth year. The 2016 campaign sees Kingston University sponsoring the award for Best Business for Staff Training and Development.

The awards are developed and organised by Kingston Chamber of Commerce and held in partnership with Kingstonfirst and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Enlightenment's first two feature films, The World Unseen and I Can't Think Straight, won a striking 34 international awards, and the former was selected to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. In addition, the two films have generated a huge global following, with trailers and clips gaining over 100 million YouTube hits.
Back in 2014, co-founder, writer and director, Shamim Sarif, told us that they had been busy at Pinewood Studios finishing production on their fourth feature film, Despite the Falling Snow, based on her acclaimed novel. The movie stars Rebecca Ferguson and Charles Dance and tells the story of a female spy who steals secrets from an idealistic politician and falls in love with him at the same time. Produced by Hanan Kattan, CEO and second co-founder of Enlightenment, Despite the Falling Snow opened in UK cinemas on 15 April 2016 – watch the trailer.
