Several Kingston Law School students spent the day at Middle Temple recently. They were invited by barrister and Law alumnus James Keeley (LLB 1992). The day started with coffee in the historic Middle Temple Hall whose previous visitors have included Queen Elizabeth I and was also the location for the first performance of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. There then followed a series of lectures given by barristers telling the audience about the function the Inn performs in the education of barristers and what the real day-to-day life of an advocate involves.
Lunch was had in the beautiful Middle Temple Gardens before the day ended with some final lectures.
Speaking of the day, James said "It was a pleasure to have Kingston students at this event. I hope that they have learnt a lot. They are a credit to themselves and to the University"
