The Annual Fund – transforming lives and breaking records

Posted Wednesday 28 May 2014

Our biggest telephone campaign yet has resulted in our biggest ever total. An impressive £87,828 has been pledged by our alumni and friends, helping to make a huge difference to Kingston University's current and future students.

With gifts still coming in, this total is sure to rise. Perhaps you could help us to make this Kingston's first ever six figure campaign?

The student fundraisers carried out their roles with passion and enthusiasm and also gained from the campaign. In taking on this role they secured valuable advice and the vital chance to network with our alumni, some of whom are working in the industries that they hope to enter after their graduations.

Through these donations we are able to support vital projects. With the rising costs of education, the Student Hardship Fund – which helps students who encounter financial difficulties through no fault of their own – is proving more crucial than ever.

Alongside this are exciting projects such as the Opportunities Fund, with its primary purpose of enhancing the student experience, and postgraduate scholarships – a part of the fund that ensures Kingston University manages to attract the finest students from the UK and overseas. Finally, the Research Fund is helping Kingston students tackle the problems that the world is facing today.

If you missed this campaign and would like to make a donation, please visit the Giving to Kingston page.

Or if you would like to know more, including other ways that you can help – perhaps by leaving a legacy to Kingston - please contact Jason Barlow, the Annual Fund manager at j.barlow@kingston.ac.uk or on 020 8417 3112.
