The student fundraisers carried out their roles with passion and enthusiasm and also gained from the campaign. In taking on this role they secured valuable advice and the vital chance to network with our alumni, some of whom are working in the industries that they hope to enter after their graduations.
Through these donations we are able to support vital projects. With the rising costs of education, the Student Hardship Fund – which helps students who encounter financial difficulties through no fault of their own – is proving more crucial than ever.
Alongside this are exciting projects such as the Opportunities Fund, with its primary purpose of enhancing the student experience, and postgraduate scholarships – a part of the fund that ensures Kingston University manages to attract the finest students from the UK and overseas. Finally, the Research Fund is helping Kingston students tackle the problems that the world is facing today.
