Hamish Mackie sculpture exhibition

Posted Wednesday 9 October 2013

Hamish Mackie has become one of England's leading wildlife sculptors and has works in public and private collections around the world.

Although Hamish's trademark style is predominantly bold and loose, he can also be immaculately detailed in his sculpting of more delicate subjects.

He is a sculptor who is unafraid to experiment with all aspects of his field, including materials, subject matter and patination. All Hamish's work is cast in England.

Hamish studied Design at Kingston University. His sculptures are interpretation rather than mere representations.

This tri-annual solo show is a culmination of all his available work to date and takes place between 7–19 October 2013 at Cork Street Gallery in London.
