 Will Wonder Woman's success pave the way for other superheroines? asks Kingston expert Will Brooker

Unlike its predecessors Batman V Superman (Zack Snyder, 2016) and Suicide Squad (David Ayer, 2016), Wonder Woman's success continued beyond the opening weekend. In fact, it had the lowest drop in numbers of any recent superhero movie, suggesting that audiences are spreading the word, encouraging their friends and returning for repeat viewings.

For the first time, renewable energy has generated more than half of all UK electricity – is this a one-hit wonder, asks Kingston University professor

Kingston University Professor of Innovation and Technology Management Audley Genus comments on the National Grid's announcement that, for the first time, electricity generated from renewable energy sources in the UK has surpassed the amount generated from coal and gas combined.
