Kingston University students support artist Mat Collishaw to create Echolocation outdoor video installation showcasing borough's history

Students from Studio KT1, Kingston University's creative agency, have assisted British artist Mat Collishaw in the production of Echolocation, a new public artwork, inspired by Kingston's history which can be seen in the Undercroft, a short tunnel that leads to Riverside Walk in Kingston upon Thames.

Earth Day 2021: Staff and students from across Kingston University commit to sustainability at work as part of Green Impact programme

The theme for Earth Day this year is ‘Restore Our Earth' and staff and students at Kingston University have been playing their part in recent months through their involvement in an award-winning programme designed to support sustainable practice within organisations. To date, 92 staff from 24 different teams across the institution have signed up to the sector-wide Green Impact programme, led by Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK), with some 78 sustainable actions already undertaken as part of the scheme.

Kingston University to develop ground-breaking technology in partnership with homecare provider Salutem to support people with autism and learning difficulties

Kingston University has teamed up with Salutem Care and Education in a £220,000 technology project to improve care for people with autism and learning difficulties. Experts from the University's School of Computer Science and Mathematics will work with the homecare provider to design and develop a sophisticated sensor system that will alert carers when urgent support is needed.

Staff and students at Kingston School of Art have been paying tribute and remembering the enormous contributions of senior technician Elaine Wilson, who passed away recently. Elaine worked at Kingston School of Art for more than 25 years, specialising in ceramics. She was also a successful artist.
