Two outstanding women who have led the Kingston University programme to widen access to higher education, have been recognised for their achievements in the Queen's Birthdays honours list. The star of BBC Three's hit series Bad Education, Jack Binstead, has been the inspiration for a play written by a group of Kingston University drama students. The play is being performed at the International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF). The group has been nominated for the ‘Best of the Fest' award and Matthew Mahoney has been nominated for the best actor award.
