Welcome to the country information for students from Hong Kong.

Most of our postgraduate courses offer the opportunity of a 12-month work placement.

Language requirements

All students from outside the UK need to meet our English language requirements. These depend on whether you are applying for pre-degree, undergraduate or postgraduate level.

For students from Hong Kong, we accept the following English qualifications as well:

• HKCEE Use of English minimum grade C (Syllabus B)
• HKDSE English minimum 4 overall, minimum 4 in each component
• HKALE English Minimum grade C

If you don't achieve the required score, you may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
