Kingston University is a secular institution which has no commitment to any particular faith or belief. Many beliefs and faiths however, are present in the University which is a very diverse community.
At Kingston University, we have a number of faith facilities, which can be found on our Inclusive Facilities maps (PDF).
The following faith facilities are available for our students and staff to access, but please note that our University wudu/Islamic washrooms are currently closed due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic:
The Faith and Spirituality Centre is open to students and staff of all faiths and none from Monday to Friday. It is on the ground floor of the main building on the Penrhyn Road campus, adjacent to the students' union offices and social space. The entrance is opposite the KSA Student Office.
The Centre contains spaces for prayer, worship, meditation, reflection, meetings and discussion, as well as religious washing rooms and office space. This includes a Quiet Room, and Prayer Room. Please remove your shoes before entering the Prayer Room.
Access to the Faith and Spirituality Centre requires a University ID card and so please bring this with you.

A new Faith and Spirituality Centre has been created on the ground floor of Kenry House to replace the two prayer rooms in Hut 1 on the terrace level. Access to the Faith and Spirituality Centre requires use of a University ID card, so please bring this with you.

A multi-faith quiet room is available for all students and staff to use for prayer, reflection and meditation, located on the ground floor of the Hawker Wing (RVHW.003). Muslim students and staff use the toilet rooms nearby for wudu/Islamic ablutions.
Students and staff at Knights Park are welcome to use the KSA Quiet Room on the ground floor of the Link Building, next to the Food Hall for prayer, quiet reflection and/or meditation. Muslim students and staff use the toilet rooms nearby for wudu/Islamic ablutions.
