This is a live podcast recording which will focus on financial literacy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The speakers featured in the episodes talk about capital allocators (Business Angel Investors, Venture Capital, Family Offices, Private Equity), who they are, and why they chose to invest in a company or companies within their portfolio. The event will share best practices with regards to fundraising.

Keynote speakers
Nzube Ufodike
Nzube is an investor, entrepreneur, and trusted advisor. He co-founded Amoo Advisors, Amoo Angels, and Crown Castê. He sits on the Industrial Advisory Board of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, where he also obtained his Computer Science BSc & MSci degrees. He chairs of IoD Emerging NEDs (fka Young Executives) group, British Computer Society Foundation, and is a trustee at The Africa Centre charity, UK.
Nathalie Richards
Nathalie joined SEO London as Chief Exec in May 2022. A former Management Consultant (Accenture) and Geo-expansion Senior Manager (Apple), she also founded EduKit, a social enterprise dedicated to helping schools to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their students which she ran as CEO for 8 years. She has an MBA from INSEAD, a BA (Hons) in Economics & Law and an MSc in Ethnicity, Migration and Culture. She's also a trustee of Virgin Unite, the charitable foundation of Virgin and the Branson family and has also volunteered as a youth mentor and coach for EduKit, the 100 Black Men of London and Young Enterprise.

With over a decade of experience in financial institutions, Luis Santos is a seasoned financial expert specializing in financial modelling, M&A analysis, and corporate finance. Leading transactions exceeding £500 million, he has driven portfolio growth by 25% and achieved a 95% client retention rate, underscoring his commitment to building solid and lasting relationships. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English and advanced in French, with beginner Mandarin skills, Luis is adept at navigating global markets. He holds an MSc in International Business Administration from Kingston University and combines analytical rigor with a proactive approach.
Stephen (Cap) Newnham
Stephen (Cap) Newnham is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning leadership roles in multiple industries. He has held significant positions in both the private and public sectors, bringing his expertise to areas such as business development, organizational leadership, and strategic planning. His career highlights include steering successful growth initiatives, building high-performing teams, and driving business transformations. Known for his strong analytical abilities and strategic vision, Stephen has a proven track record of fostering innovation and achieving measurable results, making him a respected figure in his field.
Sthembile Nkabinde
Sthembile is a chartered accountant and Harvard alumni. She has extensive financial, commercial and investment experience. She began her career in corporate finance and leveraged finance at Investec. She then founded a PE investment entity which she ran for 7 years and where she invested in assets with an enterprise value of close to $500 million. Sthembile has also served on boards with a revenue of close to $10 billion and most notably was chosen by her peers to be a board member of the South African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA). Sthembile is currently an active angel investor. She is also a member of the advisory committee for the Harvard Business School Angels Alumni of the UK, a mentor for Google for start-ups and sits on advisory committees for organizations supporting female founders for The Table and Entrepreneurs Collective.
Mike Bank
Mike has spent the last 15 years helping people launch, grow and exit thriving businesses. He now runs UnderdogX, supporting hundreds of founders to start world changing ventures. Mike started his career as an M&A banker at Citigroup in London in 2006. He secured the role despite no background in finance and has been coaching others in identifying and landing their dream jobs in the industry ever since. Mike moved to the buy side as an active angel and early stage VC investor in 2011 before launching a venture studio in 2014. He is a fund LP, 2x VC-backed founder and was also an early participant in Antler VC's startup accelerator.
