Black History Month: Reclaiming Narratives

Speaker

Segun Giwa is a systems engineer and project manager by training, a serial entrepreneur and business consultant by practise, and a Crypto/Digital currency expert .

Haven grown up in Nigeria, with exposure from a young age to international Education, Politics, Leadership, Business and Media. Segun developed an evolving philosophy, refined by constant shuttling between Europe, West Africa and Asia for Education, Business and Family engagements. This richness of experience, combined with American ideals of 'Possibility' has led to Segun's unique perspective on the 'Black and Minority Ethnicities' experience.

As a Director, Partner and Non-Executive Director of several companies, Segun works with businesses and UHNWI from the BAME community in an advisory capacity to, access capital, expand into new markets, adhere to international regulations and standards, and to maximise growth potential.

Segun will share his unique perspectives on Black and Minorities Ethnicities experience which will help staff, students, industry partners and others work collaboratively towards providing targeted support to enrich students experiences and help address the widening degree attainment gaps.
