The US Decides: Harris v Trump

Dr Peter Finn will give an introduction to the 2024 US elections, and discuss the current state of the race. The second half of this event will be a Question-and-Answer chaired by Amanda Latimer.

Dr Finn is an award winning Senior Lecturer in Politics, has published widely on US politics, is the Principle Investigator on the project '50 States or Bust!', and co-curates an LSE US Centre series focused on US elections titled 'The 2024 Elections'.

Amanda Latimer is a Senior Lecturer and a social anthropologist. She was co-winner of the Paul A. Baran and Paul M. Sweezy Memorial Prize for her recent translation of The Dialectics of Dependency by Ruy Mauro Marini.

This is a public event open to staff, students, and members of the public.
