KU Business Boost: Communicating with Impact for Business Success

Dr Kate Scott (Associate Professor and School Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange) will host a practical, online session that focuses on how businesses can master communicating with impact. Kate will demonstrate how storytelling and other techniques can help elevate your communications to win new business, and how creativity and design thinking could spark innovation.

In this session, you will gain an understanding of how businesses can:

  • Develop storytelling, brand identity and other skills to enhance tools to develop external networks, and improve pitching and bid-writing
  • Apply creative skills and design thinking expertise to embed innovation and develop fresh ideas within your business

The session will include practical exercises that encourage self-reflection and introduce useful tools that can be incorporated into your business strategy.

You will also hear about the experiences of businesses that have successfully partnered with the University to tap into academic expertise to enhance their innovation, improve capabilities and embed skills. Information about opportunities to work with academics at Kingston University will also be shared.
