Penrhyn Faith and Spirituality Book Group

For discussion tonight (Monday 3 February 2020):

"Rerum novarum" ("Of the new things" or "Rights and Duties of Capital and Labour") is an encyclical issued by Pope Leo XIII on 15 May 1891 which still remains very topical, despite its age.

As usual, we will meet in the Quiet Room within the Faith Centre at the Penrhyn Road campus from 7-8.30pm (drinks and nibbles from 6.30pm).

Professor Anthony Towey from St Mary's University, Twickenham, will introduce the text so as to aid our discussion.

All welcome. There is no need to reserve a place or have a ticket. All you need do is read the text and then come on the day itself.
