Come and join us for an engaging event as we showcase work undertaken by undergraduate students within the Department of Politics at Kingston University.
During the session we will explore research that examines various historical roles that women have assumed in conflict. The purpose of the session is to challenge and transform dominant constructions of masculinity in active citizenship, honour, and power in war.
Students will present a series of short 5-minute presentations, followed by a lively Q&A time.
Our aim is give context to the complex relationship between gender and war.
All visitors to the University are extremely welcome!
