This launch event provides an exciting opportunity for all of those involved in social work across South West London and Surrey to learn more about Developing Together: Social Work Teaching Partnership, the work we are undertaking together, what it can offer you, and how you can get involved.

Who is this event for?
We would welcome anyone working in the profession who would like to find out more. If you are a student, academic, social worker, practice educator, social work manager or professional working within social care services - come along.
What is a social work teaching partnership?
The Department for Education introduced Social Work Teaching Partnerships to help improve the overall quality of practice, learning and continuing professional development amongst trainee and practicing social workers. Led by social work employers and funded by the government, Social Work Teaching Partnerships support regional groups to work together to strengthen social work education and post qualifying development.
What is Developing Together: Social Work Teaching Partnership?
Developing Together is a Social Work Teaching Partnership formed of Achieving for Children, Croydon Adult & Children's Services, Kingston Adult Services, Kingston University, Merton Adult & Children's Services, NSPCC, Richmond & Wandsworth Adult Services, Surrey Children's Services, Sutton Adult & Children's Services, Wandsworth Children's Services, and Welcare.
Our Vision
To leverage the strengths of our partners to create the UK's leading pre and post qualifying social work education community, capable of attracting, developing and retaining the best and brightest social workers in the country.
