Speaker(s): Oliver Jones
Kingston Business School's premium Strategy into Practice seminar series is designed to give you the opportunity to gain insights of strategy within business and not-for-profit corporations.
China represents the world's largest online market today at c.25% of the 3+ billion people online globally. Complex regulation, a tightly maintained national firewall and a lack of understanding of China by the West presents huge challenges but also significant opportunities for infrastructure providers if these matters can be addressed. Oliver Jones, co-founder and CEO of Chayora, a Hong Kong-based investor, developer and operator of data centres will describe the journey, strategic considerations, key stages and the story so far for his company.
Oliver Jones is the Chief Executive of Chayora, an international infrastructure investor and developer with a primary focus on Data Centre platforms in China.
Oliver has worked extensively in property and facilities management worldwide and has a particular insight into Asia through Hong Kong and China where he has led a number of businesses, and the Middle East, specifically the UAE, where he was a founder director of Emrill.
