Kingston students and many young people today need support to find their path. This is where our team of Alumni Champions play an invaluable role in helping our students to excel.
You can get involved however you choose – from offering mentoring support and student work placements to hosting guest lectures and class reunions. As an Alumni Champion, you can unlock a wealth of opportunities for those coming up behind you and help build students' social capital.
As well as the satisfaction of supporting promising Kingston students, our Alumni Champions also tell us that they get a lot out of developing their coaching, mentoring and public speaking skills, and get to connect with fellow alumni.
Below are some of the ways our Alumni Champions share their expertise with Kingston students and graduates. If you have queries, or an idea of how we can work together to help new graduates, please get in touch.
Help students from traditionally under-represented groups achieve their full potential by volunteering as a mentor on our six-month Beyond Barriers scheme.
Provide valuable insights by talking about your own career and industry at one of many student events during the academic year.
Inspire entrepreneurial ideas and support business start-ups by sharing your time and expertise with Kingston students.
Offer a future in your profession through an internship, placement or a job in your organisation to a talented Kingston student. Work with our free-of-charge recruitment service to find the best candidate for you.

In this video, Symmone Cupidore talks about the mentoring support she has received from our alumna Jean Lebleu and how the mentoring partnership has helped them both.
If you are able to share your time and expertise, please get in touch to discuss how you would like to get involved.
A good way to help new students build professional networks is to welcome them into the Kingston Alumni community.
An alumni reunion is an excellent way to meet up, socialise, share memories of Kingston and make valuable professional and personal connections.
