Steve is President of KeySo Global LLC, a Chicago-based international strategic consultancy, focused on helping clients gain the competitive edge they need in this rapidly-changing digital world. He is an accomplished strategy, marketing and technology consultant, adviser, speaker and commentator on the mobile internet and its impact on digital life. Described as a 'technology business veteran', he worked for over 20 years with the multinational communications company Motorola in Germany, UK and the USA, establishing a track record of creating new products, and developing markets from GSM, to 3G and WiMAX.

Steve is an Industrial Fellow of Kingston University, a member of the UK Institute of Directors, an international adviser to the ICIN Conference, an adviser to the Center for Policy on Emerging Technologies (C-PET) as well as a member of the ITU Telecom World Technical Program Committee.

"I entered Kingston unsure of my academic worthiness or my ability to achieve success. I found a group of talented people committed to nurturing my interest in international business strategy and marketing. There is a saying: 'If you have a penny and I have a penny and we exchange coins, then we both still have one coin. But if you have an idea, and I have an idea and we exchange ideas you now have two ideas, and I have two ideas.'

I have been fortunate and, from the very earliest days at Kingston, have had the opportunity to share many ideas. From the sandwich course that changed my life so long ago, I constantly find crumbs that lead me back to Kingston for both business and personal reasons and for which I am continuously thankful."
