Launch of Explore for second year students marks major milestone in roll out of Kingston University's Future Skills programme

As the new academic year gets into full swing, thousands of Kingston University students are set to become the first in the United Kingdom to benefit from the latest phase of its sector-leading Future Skills programme. Alongside their subject-specific learning, from September all second-year undergraduates will be taking part in Explore as part of the University's groundbreaking approach to preparing them for career success.

International Nurses Day: The value of role play in nursing education at Kingston University

Nursing students at Kingston University are being prepared for their careers with the opportunity to learn using real-life scenarios in simulation with role players. The University first employed around 10 role players in 2010, which has grown to approximately 70 in 2024 – a unique addition to simulation learning at Kingston that few universities offer.
