Our courses will help you develop the skills and abilities you'll need to succeed in your career. Many courses at Kingston University are designed to prepare you for your chosen career, with industry experience undergraduate and postgraduate placements. As well as this, we have developed our courses with industry partners and many hold professional accreditations.

Accreditation

Certain courses carry professional accreditation from established organisations such as:

• The Faculty of Business and Social Science offers a range of courses with accreditations including the AACSB, the EPAS, the AMBA and the Small Business Charter. Read more about business and social science accreditations here.

• The Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education has courses accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Institute of Biomedical Science, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Health and Care Professions Council, Social Work England and The Department of Education. Professional placements

Gain valuable real-world experience through our placement schemes, available at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Undergraduate placements

Some undergraduate programmes offer a professional placement year which incorporates a period of time in industry before completing your degree.

Postgraduate placements

Kingston University also offers an optional two-year postgraduate programme which integrates a work placement as an assessed part of your course, so you will be issued a two-year visa to cover both the taught and the work placement components.

We will provide careers and employability support throughout your time at Kingston and for up to two years after you graduate. This includes:

International students graduating from a UK university can apply to stay in the UK to work once they have finished their studies. With central London just 30 minutes away by train, you are within easy reach of a wide range of opportunities.
